What is WineTwits Deals? 
WineTwits Deals is an online social marketplace for daily wine deals offered to the WineTwits Community Members at 30%-80% off store and internet site prices. Our wines are sourced from a network of the largest wine retailers and in some cases direct from the winery. 
I see only one item. Do you sell anything else? 
We sell one wine at a time until it's sold out.  Once a wine is sold out we replace the wine with a new offer, usually no more than six times in a 24 hour period of time. 
Do you add any notes if my purchase is sent as a gift? 
If you place an order as a gift, we would be happy to include a handwritten note on a gift card. We will also exclude the invoice and any pricing information. 
Is shipping always free? 
Yes! As long as you buy the minimum amount of bottles required in the offer, your shipping will be free providing the shipping address is one which can legally receive shipments of wine. Check the daily deal to see state exclusions. 
Must I receive emails to remain a member? 
No, you can unsubscribe anytime.  While email is our preferred method of communication, WineTwits Deals also promotes each deal via the @WineTwitsDeals twitter handle. 
How do I unsubscribe to emails? 
You can opt out of the email alerts by sending an email to with "Unsubscribe" in the subject line.   
How long before I receive my wine? 
Typically, your order ships within 2-5 business days via FedEx Ground. If your order isn't received in 7-10 business days, you should contact us.  We will soon offer FedEx 2nd Day Express service for an additional $3.00 per bottle.  Express orders only ship Monday - Wednesday. 
What is the schedule for new items? 
A new product is released every day at midnight EST. If a product sells out, a new wine will replace it.    
I missed yesterday's item, can I still get one? 
No.  The last product is discontinued at 11:59PM EST. We may get more at a later date, if you're lucky, but we can't make any guarantees. 
I am trying to buy an offer that I was emailed, but a different wine appears on the website.  What am I doing wrong? 
This means the item you were trying to buy is no longer available - it's sold out! 
Will WineTwits Deals tell us how many cases or bottles are remaining at any given time? 
Some offers are hundreds of cases, while others are only a few. We start telling you inventory is running low once once stock drops below 24 bottles.  After that, you better be quick! 
Can I be notified of a wine type that I like? 
No. Once you become a member, you will be emailed each time a new wine offer is available.  This email will include the wine description, rating and price with a link to BUY NOW. If you choose not to receive emails, you can always unsubscribe in your account page and still be able to purchase at anytime directly on the website. 
Does it cost me anything to sign up? 
No. Signing up just means you are becoming a member of the WineTwits Deals community. You will get an email notification each time a new wine offer is available on the website. 
How do I sign up? 
Go to the main page of site and click on the "Join Free tab". Fill out the form by supplying us with a valid email address and  password of your choice. Next, click the Join Now button and your account is ready for buying wine at great prices. Only one account per email address and credit card number is allowed. 
How do I buy from my BlackBerry, iPhone, etc... 
At the present time, our website may not work with your PDA device. If you would like us to process the order for you, contact us by calling (XXX) XXX-XXXX. 
Does an adult need to sign for delivery? 
There must be an adult of at least 21 years to sign for any delivery since the shipment contains alcohol. 
If no one is available when delivery is attempted, there will be two more attempts made on consecutive business days. At this point you can contact the shipper to make alternative shipping arrangements after the first attempt is made. Should delivery fail on all three attempts, the package will return to sender, and we must recharge shipping in order for the package(s) to be re-sent. 
I do not want to sign for a package. What do I do? 
FedEx and the federal government require an adult signature for every package delivered. You can bill and ship to different addresses if this helps, but otherwise these are the rules. 
How do I track delivery? 
The tracking number will be emailed to you once your order has shipped. 
Do you delay shipments for weather reasons? 
We ship all year round. 
The shipping materials we use are resistant to hot and cold temperatures.  However, when extreme weather conditions between our warehouse and a shipping destination could adversely affect wine in transit, WineTwits Deals and its retailer partner may temporarily delay orders from shipping. 
If you are aware of an extreme hot or cold spell from New York to your area, please let us know that you prefer to briefly delay shipment until the weather is more favorable.  Alternatively, add "hold until I release" in the comments section of each order and we will hold the shipment in our temperature controlled warehouse until you notify us. 
Extreme weather may also delay orders already in transit, as carriers may not be able to move freight or make deliveries. 
What shipping restrictions are there? 
Due to state regulations preventing shipments from out-of-state retailers, WineTwits Deals retailer partners are prohibited from shipping wine to certain states. 
For an up to date list of states we DO ship to, please contact us or check the daily deal information. 
We are also unable to ship outside of the United States and cannot ship to a P.O. Box address. 
We do ship to business addresses when the company is advised to sign for the delivery. Be sure to include the company name in the ship-to information. 
FedEx broke a bottle in the package. What should I do? 
Just email us! If the package was not received, we will refund your card in full and place a claim with FedEx. If you have accepted the package and a bottle is broken, we will refund your card for every bad bottle in the shipment. 
How do I return a defective product?  
Simply email us. We stand behind every bottle we sell!  If for any reason you feel the wine is not good, you just need to notify us. 
Go to the contact us tab on the main page of the WinesTwits Deals site.  In the comments box please give us your name, invoice number as well as a phone number where we can reach you and we will email you as soon as the refund is issued. 
Can I change or cancel an order? 
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date by using the submission form by clicking here. If you wish to return your wine you must receive a return authorization code prior to sending any wine back.  
If you suspect the bottle is bad, please put the cork back in the wine.  You must leave the contents of the wine in the bottle since we can't take back any empty bottles. 
If you find any errors regarding type of wine and vintage, please call or email us right away. We will arrange to have the package picked up and returned to us right away for inspection. Once the package is returned to us, we will inspect the contents and then send out a replacement package to you. 
While ratings, testimonials and reviews help with your decision, the ultimate judgment is yours.  Although we work toward providing you with as much information as possible to help you make a selection you will enjoy, we cannot guarantee that you will like the taste of every bottle of wine you chose. However, in the event you do experience a problem with the quality/taste of a bottle, please contact us within 30 days of your purchase date and provide the details of your problem.  If you would like to return an order for taste reasons, we will issue a refund or account credit.
